About Arminée

Arminée grew up in Montreal, Quebec, and Vancouver, B.C. Canada. She received a Master’s degree in French Language and Literature from McGill University in Montreal. Her love for music showed her the path to writing her own songs and taking voice lessons. She has studied voice with well-known teachers. The French language and Latin music have given a special flavor to her songs. This rich and unique flavor is present throughout her music. She interprets her life and aspirations in her songs.

Arminée lived in The Woodlands, Texas, for many years. Soon after establishing there, she became a member of the Woodlands Symphony Chorus. She recorded her “Open Your Eyes” album at Sugar Hill Studios in Houston, TX, where Destiny’s Child recorded their songs. Arminée performed at local venues in Houston, she performed at USA Songwriting Competition in Austin, TX., and at Roundhouse in Vancouver, BC.

Arminée also worked in the following films in Texas: “The Gulf”, “Tin Cup” and “A Face to Kill”. In the meantime, she taught French in area colleges around Houston and at the University of Houston.

Arminée resides in Las Vegas NV, Los Angeles CA, and Vancouver BC, Canada – Vancouver being her favorite city. While living in Vancouver, she taught French at The University of British Columbia and she performed at various local venues.

When Arminée performed as a debut singer/songwriter at Roundhouse in Vancouver, she received a standing ovation from the audience.

Arminée is an original pop music recording artist. Her songs “Open Your Eyes” (Inspirational Version) and “Bye Bye” have recently been accepted for streaming on iTunes. These songs including the short version of her “Party Girl” video are on YouTube!

Arminée’s “Open Your Eyes” album has been previously accepted for airplay on the following internet radio stations: – #1 Independent Radio Station
– Dr-Love Internet Radio

Arminée’s songs are registered with ASCAP

Arminée is the writer/composer and producer of all her songs. She has recorded her background vocals as well as the lead vocals on her “Open Your Eyes” album.

Arminée’s latest music project is her very first single: Party Girl. The “Party Girl” song/video project is in the making stage. There were difficulties encountered with a collaborator who wanted to make this song his own. He added unauthorized lead vocals and images. (Please see the “News” page for more details.)

Arminée’s songs tell a story about the challenges, the hardships, and the inspirations in her life. For Arminée, there is peace in a utopian level of life, which she believes exists for every human being. Her music has a magical feeling which, often makes you want to get up and dance and sometimes remain in a trans.
