                                                                       ***********************************************************************

It is unfortunate that for such an original artist a lot of things went wrong along the way. First, in Houston, she was signed with a music company which turned out to be a bad experience. Every time she tried to promote her music Arminée encountered doing business with scam artists. Every step of the way was disappointing and discouraging. The final blow was with a “music promoter” who went after her persistently until he managed to convince her that he would promote her songs, especially the latest new single called “Party Girl”. He took a special interest in “Party Girl” and wanted to make this song his own. Long story short: He was hired to add background vocals and to promote the “Party Girl” project. He put unauthorized vocals and images in the music video. This person truly believed that everyone he met owed him… He took her money and her audio/video master tracks for “Party Girl” and went to Montreal where he promoted his own music with the money. Then he disappeared from the face of the earth to hide from all the people he was scamming. Without the master audio tracks, there was not much Arminée could do. She decided to put her music career aside but did not forget about it. After this unfortunate mishap and disappointment in her life, her friends encouraged her to write more songs. Arminée picked up the pieces and started doing just that! She has developed a compilation of poems and original song lyrics.

Arminée has also been busy for many years writing a memoir about her grandmother’s life, which will be published soon. The manuscript is finally ready to go.

Arminée also has been working on her art – producing wonderful canvases with oil and acrylic filled with her passion. Some of these pieces of art can be viewed on her “Photos” page.

Bye Bye

Arminée,

I really enjoyed listening to this song, thanks for the opportunity. I think you have written a pretty good song. Things start off with a nice intro that builds as it progresses. You then jump right into the verse as the song begins to unfold. After the simple verse, you get into the chorus, which is fairly catchy. It certainly has the ability to pull the listener in and keep their attention. I like the short breakdown of the music before the second verse it was a nice touch. I like the production it had an understated dance feel to it. I thought you did a good job developing the track with just enough changes to keep it interesting.

I thought the production value of the demo was good. The overall mix sounded very good. I like what you did musically it was very simple yet it held to the song’s pop feel. There was enough going on that it didn’t get boring. I really liked the baseline it kept things moving nicely.

You have written what I think is a pretty good song. I feel like there is still room for improvement. What are you trying to do with it? Are you looking to be an artist signed to a major label? Are you trying to get stuff placed with a publishing company? Do you have a three-song demo together? I think you would benefit from some vocal coaching either way. I like that you did all the lyrics and music it really showed off your talent. You should keep moving forward writing and making music all the while looking for opportunities that will help you move forward in the music industry. Best of luck.

Sincerely,
